Have you looked at Joomla 1.6 yet?

I installed Joomla 1.6 on one of my test sites. I really like it. I think it will be popular.

There are many improvements that will benefit news or blogs sites: tags, pings, trackbacks, improved menus for articles, and now they have User Profiles as part of Joomla core. The user profile is very "bare-bones" but what's there is nice.

I wonder if developers will be utilizing the User Profile very much. For example, adding a tab or button that will link to a user's articles, photos etc.
