 I'm glad to announce the release of the first Jomsocial plugin for JWallpapers. This plugin allows to display JWallpapers pictures uploaded by users on their corresponding profiles. Two different views are introduced by the plugin:
- A showcase view is presented when visiting the profile of a member. In this view, the profile owner choose to display/showcase the newest, best rated, most viewed or a set of random pictures that he/she has previously uploaded. The number of pictures to be displayed in this view as well as the layout is configurable by the administrator.
- At the bottom of the showcase view, a link that points to a view known as the application view, is provided for browsing all the pictures uploaded by the profile owner. An order by bar is provided in the application view for ordering pictures by date, rating, visits, etc.
This is just the first version of the plugin. The next version should include integration with the Jomsocial user point system.

 Well, I think that the title speaks for itself. I finally decided to go all GNU GPL.
The new versions of the Photo Contest Pack and VirtueMart e-Commerce Pack were released under the GNU GPL v2+ license and are available for download. They should make their appearance in the JED soon.
All future WeXtend development will be licensed under the GNU GPL license as well. It is my belief that this decision will be profitable to all parties involved.

 For too long, I have been telling myself: you should start writing the JWallpapers documentation someday ... However, I felt that JWallpapers still needed to catch up with other popular image galleries out there, so I decided to concentrate my efforts on improving the extension rather than providing users with a manual.
I'm not saying that I finally catch up with the competition, since they are still at least 1 year ahead, I just think that JWallpapers have attained a certain level of maturity and that it is perhaps time to finally start writing some docs.

 I'm pleased to announce the release of JWallapers v2.1. This release introduces:
- Icon color schemes.
- Facebook integration.
- Some minor code improvements.
On JWallpapers you are now allowed to select among 5 different icon color schemes to better suit your templating needs. The available choices are: blue, green, red, grey and white. Whether your template is dark or light, these color schemes will help on integrating JWallpapers to your Joomla! powered site in no time !.
Last but not least, and perhaps one the most exciting features on JWallpapers, is the introduction of social networking. You can now add the Facebook share and like buttons and let your visitors do the hard work for you, i.e. bringing more traffic to your site by just sharing your images with their friends and so on ... !. This is the first of many Social Networking features that will be introduced in the future.

 The JWallpapers VirtueMart plugin is now available for purchase. More information about this new JWallpapers extension is available at the JWallpapers VirtueMart plugin description page.
As for the new version of the contest pack, the plugin's subscription is proposed with a personal or a professional license.
