For too long, I have been telling myself: you should start writing the JWallpapers documentation someday ... However, I felt that JWallpapers still needed to catch up with other popular image galleries out there, so I decided to concentrate my efforts on improving the extension rather than providing users with a manual.

I'm not saying that I finally catch up with the competition, since they are still at least 1 year ahead, I just think that JWallpapers have attained a certain level of maturity and that it is perhaps time to finally start writing some docs.

Even though I believe that JWallpapers is very easy to use, I agree that some people, including myself, rather read the user's manual before actually getting their hands dirty with the software package. Besides, there is some really neat stuff that can be done with JWallpapers that only very experienced Joomla! users can come up with.

However, I really could not afford, and I think I would become mad doing so, to write the whole documentation at once. It is for this reason that I decided during this week to not only start writing it in a daily basis, but to let you see what has been done so far, and give you the opportunity to participate on it. Yes !, you know the answer for this one: a Wiki! ... although it was kind of obvious with that Wikipedia logo plus the title.

The WeXtend Documentation Wiki is available for everyone to see, and for everyone to join to. The first versions of the JWallpapers contest pack and VirtueMart sections are up, so feel free to make comments, adjustments, add sections, etc. As I said earlier, I should start writing the JWallpapers part next week.
