During the last weeks I've been working on a new JWallpapers add-on that will add contest capabilities to JWallpapers.

The pack will consist on a module and a plugin.

The contest module will basically allow you to create a contest by choosing the dates for start and end of contest, the categories that will be competing, and by letting you customize the way each contest module (you can run multiple contest at the same time) looks. A new special JWallpapers view was created to browse the pictures that participate on each contest.

The contest plugin, which I called the Vote Watcher, will have absolute control over the JWallpapers voting system. You'll be able to restrict votes by member and by IP in order to avoid multiple votes from the same user or IP address. You can give the possibility of voting again after a given period of time (in hours) or allow the same IP to vote up to a given number of times while using different accounts (useful if you would like to allow votes from members who share the same internet connection). Votes can also be restricted locally (in a per picture basis) or globally, i.e. if locally is set, members will be able to vote for different pictures, while in globally mode, they will be only allowed to vote once.

This pack should be available within two weeks, and will be sold as a different subscription. The price is not yet established and it will be licensed as proprietary. However, as it is for JWallpapers, there will be no restrictions on the number of sites it can be installed.
